Paying for Home Care

Private Pay (Out of Pocket)- Most families pay for in-home care out of pocket and in-home care is typically more cost effective than facilities. This type of pay is determined by the type of care and number of hours needed. Please call our office to speak to a client care coordinator for more information.

Veterans Administration (VA) Aid and Attendance Pension Benefit  - Veterans and/or their surviving  spouse may be eligible for VA  benefits. Call our office to speak to a client care coordinator to help you with the process.

Medicaid and State Programs - Medicaid have specific eligibility requirements and limitations on types of services covered. Contact your local health department or department of social services for more information. You may also contact our office for assistance and more information. 

Long Term Care Insurance - Privately paid LTC plans may cover long term care needs for in-home care such as personal care. If you or a senior you know need assistance with starting the process, please contact our office to speak to a  client care coordinator.

***Medicare does not cover non-medical in home care but a Medicaid Advantage plan may be available in some states. Please check you plan for more information.
